Finding Inner Peace
Inner Peace
What is inner peace?
How do we cultivate inner peace?
How can one feel at peace amidst stress or uncertainty?
The truth is, life is messy.
Inner peace is something we need to practice and cultivate in order to experience it.
Now, you don’t need a fancy retreat center, LuLulemon leggings or mala meditation beads to experience peace. What you actually need is to tap into your value system.
Ashley Davis Bush, psychotherapist and author of The Little Book of Inner Peace: Simple Practices for Less Angst, More Calm" says, “I think often people look for circumstances to help achieve a sense of inner peace. In fact, this calm, compassionate, deep awareness is actually within each person. It's as if we have a deep reservoir of peacefulness and serenity inside us. What we have to learn to do is tap into it."
What have you tapped into this month?
This October we’ve practice strategies for letting go and finding trust within to carry you through life’s ups and downs.
The irony is that once you choose to let go, you get to give up needing to “figure it out”.
