Meet Dr. Pavelka

I AM A LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR WITH A PRIVATE PRACTICE IN PHILADELPHIA.

SERVICES ARE HELD IN-PERSON AND ONLINE FOR PENNSYLVANIA, NEW JERSEY, AND DELAWARE RESIDENTS.

My research and clinical work in mental health and alternative medicine began in 2008. I received training from Temple University, the University of Pennsylvania, the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dr. Lorin Roche.

Additionally, I earned a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. My research focus is on applied psychophysiology, specifically the effects of biofeedback-based breathing on stress, anxiety, and panic.
